My name is Alycia and I have chosen to take BTEC film and video course because I took GCSE Media Studies in high school and enjoyed learning and extending my knowledge in general on films and TV programmes and the planning that goes in to create them. The reason for taking BTEC media instead of AS is because although I gained a higher grade through the exam that I took, I enjoyed the coursework based assignments more which consisted of creating my own magazine cover and my own website design. In media I am mostly interested in crime/action films(war films)/romantic. Some of my favourite TV programmes are; Pretty Little Liars, Band of Brothers, Big Bang Theory.
